Opportunity Location: Parkersburg, WV (Wood VA Clinic).
Provide medical services for veterans (mostly male) on an outpatient basis in the primary care setting. Disease processes include, but are not limited to diabetes, hypertension, hyperlipidemia, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, mental health disorders, etc., with a major focus on preventive medicine.

Duties & Responsibilities:
- Lead the Patient Aligned Care Team (PACT) approach in the delivery of care, which emphasizes a team-based approach to healthcare.
- Document all medical information in an electronic medical record.
- Perform medication reconciliation.
- Provide effective delivery of outpatient care while meeting and exceeding compliance standards.
- Maintain current clinical privileges, licensure, Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Basic Life Support (BLS), and all other requirements as appropriate.
- Cooperate with, and participate in, medical duties or functions related to quality of care and peer review along with improvement/performance improvement activities at the direction of the Chief of the Medical Service.
- All other duties assigned.
Excellent work schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:0 0 A.M. - 4:30 P. M. or Monday–Thursday 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM. This position is also telework eligible; however, subject to change, depending on the needs of the service.
Salary 250K-260K
