Indiana University School of Medicine (IUSM) and Indiana University Health (IU Health) are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Faculty Child and Adolescent Psychologist to join our team at Shepherd Community Center in Indianapolis, Indiana. This is an outpatient community-based faculty psychologist position providing evaluations and psychotherapy to children, adolescents, and families at our IUHP Psychiatry East Washington location. The psychologist will also participate in opportunities for education and research. This position, which carries an appointment at the Assistant Professor (Clinical Track) level at Indiana University School of Medicine, is a partnership between IUSM, IU Health, and the Shepherd Community Center, which supports underprivileged families in the near east side of Indianapolis. 

Key Responsibilities

• Assessment and Diagnosis with Children, Adolescents, and Families
• Evidence-Based Psychological Therapies with Children, Adolescents, and Families
• Collaborate with other medical and behavioral health professionals to create integrated care plans
• Monitor and evaluate patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient interactions and treatment outcomes

Qualifications

• Doctoral degree (Ph.D. or Psy.D.) in Psychology from an accredited institution
• Licensed or eligible for licensure and HSPP in the state of Indiana
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team
